Questions

Before you call.

How do I know if a wall is load-bearing?

Walls that run across the floor joists, walls near the middle of the house, and walls with another wall or a post directly above them often carry load. It isn't always obvious, so send us a photo and tell us what's above it.

Do I need a permit or an engineer?

Usually. Removing a load-bearing wall typically needs a building permit from your city and structural plans for the new beam. We take care of both as part of the job.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how long the wall is, what it carries, and the beam it needs. Quotes are free, and we give you a price once we've heard about the job.

How fast will I hear back?

The same day. Send the quote form, call, or text us a photo of the wall, and we'll get back to you the same day.

Which areas do you serve?

The Twin Cities metro, including Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs. Put your zip code in the quote form if you're not sure.
